Aix-en-Provence is a buzz with tomorrow’s arrival of the Olympic flame bound for the Paris Olympics. To avoiding crowds, the day is spent in Sophie’s garden. She and I met walking the Camino in 2016.

Hi Barbara, The weather has been good. Yesterday’s first rain was so light my shoes stayed dry and free from mud. Today may be a different story. How’s summer hiking in Virginia? ~linda

The end of May ends my hiking in Virginia until fall. Taking a break from stinging insects, ticks, rattlesnakes, and heat. I am spending June in Colorado and will be hiking there, hopefully, with my grandchildren visiting from China. 😁
