Shibuya Scramble –  April 20, 2025

  • Location:  Tokyo – Day 3
  • Walk:  Tokyo
  • Weather:  60-75°/ overcast, winds  10-20 mph

Shibuya Street Crossing is the world’s biggest street crossing with as many as 3,000 people crossing at a time. A Rick’s doozy and marvelous.

One minute video…it takes that long for thousands to cross.
Chomping at the bit.
They’re off!
Shibuya Scramble Square.
Danger. People in every direction so much like the New York Marathon.

  1. Hi Linda,
You really captured the energy of being in Tokyo! So exciting and invigorating. I have especially enjoyed your travelogue for Japan, in part because there are so many sights familiar to me. Peggy and I were talking about your travels yesterday, specifically how you get so much out of life!
    Sincerely,
    Bill

    1. I love the dialogue we have been having for the very reason. We share experience. Peggy is the best running partner. Fingers crossed for our Boston runners. ~linda
