The Imperial Palace’s three story Watch Tower is its oldest dating to the Edo period, 1600-1850.  Within the Imperial Palace you loose sight Tokyo is the world’s most populous city with 37.1 million people.

With 150 ticket holders, guards kept the visitors in a herd and away from secure areas. Ticket holders were grouped into six different languages with English being the largest.
