At last, the long awaited walk across the Pyrénées to Spain.
The jaggered and elongated Pyrenesse tower over the valley with its rushing river.
Monastere Saint Norbert…if only I had the time to stay the night. None the less, resting in the cloisters was rejuvenating.
We’ll leave the lights on for you…and the did. I’m the only guest at Résidence Le Saint Christau Thermes. It’s just me and my yellow backpack in this enormous inn.
Unfortunately, I’m too early in the season for the thermal baths. Shucks.

“Trail Blazers,” volunteers who enhance the markings along The Way by attaching red and white candy-cane stripped flagging tape to trees.
They kindly gave me “first-hand” information how to stage the coming days. It’s the Camino. Help is there.
