All I wanted was a simple yukata like the ones presented each night for the o-henros to wear. The shop ladies insisted this was a yukata though I showed her pictures of the comforter attire I was in search.
As beautiful as the garnet is I explained it took a dresser to put it on me and I didn’t know how to tie the sash. Her reply was, “Tie the sash in front and twist it to the back. You can learn how to tie it on YouTube.” I didn’t make the purchase but thanked them for making me so pretty.

It looks wonderful ohenro-san. I was able to get the one like the use at minshuku at supermarket that also sell clothing. Go to the bedding section and they will have cotton yukata for under 2000 yen.
I tried bedding at Sogo without luck. I’ll ask my friends to take me to a supermarket. I’m much more into comfort then style. It will bring cozy memories of evenings after long days walking. Besides, Siamese fur will look much better on the 2,000¥ model. 😻
You look very much at home in your colorful, traditional outfit. You hold the gold standard for endurance and persistence. Will you be coming through San Francisco on your way home? It would be very nice to see you.
