Today we got down to business with a longer walk on tired legs. Needless to say we were not as fresh as we were three days ago. No pun intended as no showers were provided thus far. Half the day’s walk was in proximity of noisy highways albeit on paved bike paths. Half the day’s walk was on dirt country roads serenaded by birds.

Dear Linda,
I loved seeing you pictures of your adventures. You’re my role model to “just keep getting out”. It looks like a civilized area you hiked through and some good company along the way.
We returned home just last week from some time in the Denver, CO area for our eldest grandson’s graduation from high school and our youngest granddaughter’s graduation from elementary school. They are all growing up so fast. While Colorado, our eldest daughter had arranged several night’s stay at Avalanch Ranch high in the Rockies near Aspen. She had gone there last year and booked two cabins for several days (the ranch only has 14 cabins, we were at the far side of the ranch near some wonderful sheep who had just had little new babies — i was so cute.
While in that area we had a chance to visit the Maroon Bells in Rockies. I’d wanted to go there for many years and wasn’t disappointed. (Though I’ll admit that the elevation and my lack of any training were evident to me)
All the best to you. You continue to me my “role model” for living a full, youthful life.
Cherish every moment, Tom
