Kong Asher’s Høj burial mound dates to the New Stone Age. A mile away, it looked like a giant pimple or an otherwise flat landscape. It had to to have been a man made feature or a flying saucer covered with dirt.

What an amazing Burial Mound! . Am loving all the pictures. Thinking of you, love, Joanna

I can’t believe the public could scurry inside the Burial Mound. I went in such hast I left my backpack on! Much of the walk reminds me of our walk in the Cotswolds; however, no vintage car and pubs. ~linda

Dear Linda, The burial mound is so fascinating. Cool that you can walk into it. I remember as a child seeing the druid burial mounds surrounding Stonehenge. Sincerely, Bill
