Once on the Portuguese Camino there were bugs in my bed. Planning for this Camino, I could not remember which albergue to avoid. That problem was resolved as I discovered tonight’s reservation was at that very same albergue! Being there I could vividly remember every horrible detail. Fortunately I did did not become a bug carrier. New reservations were made making my 16 mile day into 21 miles. The excessively long walk was somewhat repaired by a long soak in the tub.

If I want to do a Camino in Portugal with Lis, better not showing her your post about the bugs. 😬. We loved Portugal when we visited it with Danielle and Bruno before the pandemic. At the Lis and I were looking for a place to stay during winter time when will be retired. Take care of your little finger. Don’t think you’ll need to see a doctor. 😉

Right. Keep the bugs on the QT. I was so horrified I never broach the subject until now. Finger splint. Feels better. A bit awkward . Yes Portugal is attracting many. Good place to live. A Bad place to be making money. Sure beats Canadian winters. ~linda
