Rounded rocks seem to rise like apparitions from the ground. Natural building blocks.

These rounded rocks are more forgiving than
Virginia‘s Appalachian Trail angular rocks.

Dear Linda,
Always has fascinated me how rocks figure into so many of the stories of Native Americans. Walking through the woods and seeing an enormous rock, one gains an appreciation for their power!
Sincerely,
Bill
