Dear Linda,
I am sure chilling for you to see ground 0; similar experience for me in Nagasaki. My father purified the uranium for the atomic bomb during the war. So sad that it had to be used for Japan to end the war. I hope you are not experiencing anti-American sentiment after the tariffs were announced yesterday.
Sincerely,
Bill
Thanks for sharing your father’s job and your experience at Nagasaki. The Atomic bombing during WWII was something studied as a student. I never imagined I would stand at ground zero. No political reactions to me as an American, to past USA history, or to today’s USA tariff increases for Japan. ~linda
