Dear Linda, interesting to see a photo of the Dolomites; I had heard of them but never seen them. They look like something a child would make dripping wet sand into a sculpture on the beach. Beautiful and unique. They are ancient coral reefs that have been weathered. What’s for lunch at Rifugio’s? Sincerely Bill
