One revolution. I could watch this for hours.
Just wait and a breeze will spin the home.

Nyord Island – May 17, 2023

America doesn’t have villages with homes cluster around a church and outside the cluster of homes miles and miles of open fields. Nyord is such a idealic place. Locals tell me they receive 300,000 tourists annually. Yikes.

Nyord Church dates back to 1846.

A five-inch tall downy Vibeunge was waddling across the road. A burst of wind lifted him up and soundly dropped him. He rolled over and over like tumbleweed. The Vibeunge righted himself, gave a few shakes as if stumbling from a few too many drinks, then ambled across the road. I think I was more traumatized than the bird.
