Now we were three who walked with earphones. Canadian author Louise Penny provided welcome distraction from road cruising. Chef Inspector Gamache mysteries were set in Three Pines located outside Montréal. If only our walk included this fictitious idyllic village, we wouldn’t need earphones.

Joanne spotted this double-oven stove on the back of a pickup truck headed to the junk shop.
I didn’t know microwaves were around in the 1950’s.
As charming on the outside as on the inside.

Kitsch done with a 1950’s formica table and chairs, stove, plus turquoise accents. It was as though we fell into the “Leave it to Beaver” Hollywood set. It’s done so, so well. Joanne take a bow.
