To each their own. Some prefer cycling over walking. Some prefer telephoning over silence. But all prefer head-soaking from the city fountain on such a hot afternoon.

Wow!! That was a long day of walking and hot on top of it all. My hat goes off to you.
Cherish every moment, Tom

What I really cherish was the quart of apple juice purchase from the first city market. No food or water for the last of today’s 16km. ~linda

All are walking in the heat. Frequent afternoon breaks under random trees offer relief. ~linda

Dear Linda,
The bikers look intense! I ran 20 today with Peggy, Molly and assorted others at Riverview, and then went to the UVA football game with Andrew (we won in the last few seconds)!
Sincerely,
Bill

After 1:00pm the sun bores down. Little shade as the sun is vertical. On the way by 6:00am to take advantage of cooler mornings. ~linda
