Sights I passed along The Way.
Tremendous conclusion to Montpellier.
Monument Avenue, France…not Monument Avenue, Richmond, Virginia.
As Francophile, I feels so at home with the French that I would walk up to a unknown Frenchman and inquire where he purchased his scarf. Hours later I had not only purchase a similar scarf; but, also run into the same fellow at the scarf store.
Architecture…where else but in France can you find this beauty?
Montpellier was birthplace of C 14th Saint Roch, the patron saint of pilgrims. His faithful dog, always depicted, brought him bread during his self-imposed quarantine as a plague victim (see scar on leg) during the plague.

Why I walk…
Today is my third day walking with two Frenchmen. Navigating is so much easier with three sets of eyes. The few brief times we were SLIGHTLY off course or not 100% confident we were on the Camino, there was comfort knowing we were together.
Sergio speaks English and is never hesitate to flag down a passing driver to ask for directions. Once when asking directions, the driver actually drove him from our resting spot, to our night’s accommodation (a bungalow), and back to our resting spot. I find help all along The Way.
Texas Longhorns in France? Nay. This is the region for the Le Taureau (torro).
